Summery Hues!

Hi Blogger pals,

Today’s card using the fresh and bright summery tones. It’s a Guest design project for a Team of Instagram crafty friends.

  • Stamped the Ton Stamps – Peonies in Antique Linen DI onto Arches cold pressed watercolor paper.
  • Watercolored using Gansai Tambi Watercolors and used Prisma colored pencils for deepening the shadows.
  • Fussy cut and kept aside.
  • Took another white cardstock.
  • Heavily sponged Peacock feathers DO over it, leaving the central portion.
  • Then air dried it and used MFT 3 D embossing folder to create a patterned textured background for the ink blended focal blend.
  • Added the fussy cut florals over the panel using foam adhesive.
  • Heavily splattered the white paint over the panel.
  • Sentiment from Inspired by stamping onto vellum using Archival black ink and added this banner over to the focal panel.
  • Few clear dew droplets are added as accents.
Hope you like it!

Purple & Pink Posies!

Hi Crafty Pals,

How are you all…Days are so pleasant here in UAE right now with lots of Foggy and Misty mornings, more of chill evening weather, super cold Desert nights. A season to enjoy Camping!!

And! This card today is made for my little sis, who celebrate her Birthday today!

“Hearty Birthday Wishes Priya!!! Love you Loads Dear”

Made this few days before and this would be reaching her soon.

Must say am fallen in love with the TonStamps peonies stamp sets and its hard to part it.

These stamps are my 1st ever Ton Stamps purchase and its my gift for this Xmas, and am absolutely happy to link this to The Ton January challenge 2017 – Celebrate

Now onto card details!

  • Gold heat embossed these Peonies from “Sending Peonies” stamps using ranger’s Super fine Gold Ep.
  • Watercolored them using Zig clean color brush markers.
  • Onto a white cardstock, using distress ink -Sctattered straw stenciled with Mft moroccon stencil, where the distressing is faded out from centrally.
  • In a piece of watercolor cardstock, sprinkled Brushos in Emerald green and Amber Yellow, spritzed  water, heat set it and diecut it using Ginamarie stitched circle dies.
  • The stenciled panel is then diecut using the Ginamarie stitched rectangle die.
  • Sentiment from “Happiest peonies” added and circle diecut added to make it as focal.
  • Fussy cut peonies are then added by layering with foam adhesives.
  • Few circle diecuts are added around the Posies for added interest along with few clear droplets.
  • This panel is added then to green base cardstock.
That’s all from me today. Do leave your views about this card, would love to hear from you.
Happy Crafting!!
