Thinking of You : Powerpoppy

Hi Friends!

Kathyrac’s daily marker coloring challenge is going on and that’s one lovely reason for me to sit down and color daily at least for 20 minutes. Spring is in the air and so I pull out all Floral Clear stamps and digital stamps to color down to my heart’s content.

Today’s card is showcasing a digital stamp from Powerpoppy, one of my super favorite stamp company.

  • Printed Powerpoppy – Luminous Bouquet digital stamp onto a white cardstock.
  • Colored using Prisma colored pencils.
  • Fussy cut and set aside.
  • Took a black cardstock and die cut using Spellbinder frame die.
  • Sponged with Colorbox frost ink over black cardstock using TCW Stencil – Mini quatrefoil.
  • White heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock from Powerpoppy’s Dynamic Duos clear stampset.
  • Foam mounted the fussy cut floral bouquet onto the stenciled panel and splattered Prima Frost white ink generously.
  • Mounted this focal panel onto a 4×6″ white top fold card base.
  • Added few white enamel dots for interest.
Hope you like it!

Spring Floral card : Janesdoodles Digitals

Hi All,

My dear Mom’s birthday today and made a floral card for my Plant Nerd Mumma 🙂

She absolutely love plants and religiously maintains a huge garden at my hometown. This blog is the sample of her creative streaks which she transferred. Such a fabulous oil painting artist she is and all my childhood days were spent watching her create layers and layers of those artistic paintings.

Way back in 2011, this day, I made a handmade Quilled birthday card to Mom and from that there wasn’t no looking back…The moments were in search of “Me time” when little one was just 2 yrs old and I ended up to this wonderland of Art and Handmade rightly!! Kind of soul-seeking!

Over to the card for today!

  • Printed Janesdoodles digital image onto a Strathmore toned gray sketch paper.
  • Colored using Prisma colored pencils.
  • Fussy cut the florals and set aside.
  • Took a white A2 sized top fold card base.
  • Stenciled with Altenew limestone ink using Altenew’s Classy stripes stencil.
  • Generously splashed watered white paint over fussy cut florals and set aside for air drying.
  • Stamped SSS sentiment using Mudra Mai black ink.
  • Mounted the floral bunch using foam adhesives.
  • Added few enamel dots to finish off the cards.
Hope you like it!
Happy Crafting!

Stay Safe, Stay Home, Much Love!!

Floral card!

Hi Friends!

“Flowers feed the soul” How True!!

Today’s post is also a floral card…Oh yeah ..Smitten with Floral stamps these days..Enjoyed watercoloring and recently started with Alcohol markers: Chameleon markers. There is lot to learn and to improve and i absolutely love my experiments with it…

These peonies stamps are new in my stash, from Stampendous – Bouquet for you. Stamped onto drawing sheet using Momento black ink and colored using Chameleon marker: Crimson red. Highlights done by Fabercastell polychromes. Then its fussy cut and mounted onto a ivory A2 sized card base which is stenciled on bg with hickory smoke distress ink diagonally.

Sentiment is from IBS- Tulip Bouquet set.

Hope you like my amateur attempt at alcohol marker coloring.
