Guest Designing at So Suzy Stamps: Day 3

Hi Friends!
Am at Sosuzystamps today with a final Guest designing post of this December.

Made a Layered Love card with Embossed florals using SoSuzy Stamps : Bride and Groom, Love takes off the mask, Chrysanthemum outline, Wispy Chrysanthemum outline.
  • Took a A2 Sized Metallic gold Cardbase.
  • Diecut a gold foiled patterpattern using Spellbinders Divine Elequence largest die and layered on cardbase.
  • The couple is stamped onto a narrow strip of vellum using black archival ink and mounted on the diecut centrally.
  • The florals are gold heat embossed on watercolor paper and colored using Zig cleancolor brush pens.
  • Fussy cut those florals and mounted using Foam adhseives.
  • The sentiment is then stamped onto a shrink plastic and baked in oven.
  • It’s then added on top of the watercolored florals.
  • No extra embellies are added as the gold foil accents gave an elegant look.

Hope you like the inspiration for today.

Absolutely enjoyed working with SoSuzy stamps and Thank You so much, Suzzane for this wonderful opportuniy.

Guest Designing at So Suzy Stamps : Day 2

Hi Crafty pals,

Am at SoSuzystamps today with GDT Day 2 project. You can view Day 1 project here and here

Today’s card is using SoSuzy stamps : “Rose Bloom” and “Forever and Ever

  • I love doing watercolor projects and coloring and so this attempt on noline coloring today.
  • Took a watercolor cardstock and stamped Rosebloom stamp using Antique linen distress ink, being the lightest ink.
  • Then went over with coloring using Zig clean color brushpens.
  • Then masked the whole image using Masking fluid and colored the outline of the bloom and the surrounding area randomly with Light Blue Zig cleancolor brush pens and added water to give a nice waterwash look.
  • After its dried totally, took off the masking fluid by rubbing it, and it revealed the image.
  • Mounted this panel, onto a baby blue A2 sized cardbase.
  • Few baby blue enamel dots are added as accents to finish off the card.

Hope you like my inspiration. Meet you next week with another inspiration.

Happy Stamping!

Dear Crafty pals,

Am So stoked to Guest Design at So suzy stamps and i had an opportunity to pick my faves as GDT kit 🙂 Absolutely thrilled, when i received a mail in June just before my Vacation to India 🙂

Have come up with projects using my favorite stamps. Have been showcasing whole of this month December as weekly inspiration 🙂 Hope you like it as much as i loved making these 🙂

First up is a Layered Mixed media, using Sosuzy stamps : Bride and Groom and Judy Garland sentiment stamp .

  • Took a 5.5” topfold white cardbase.
  • Layered with DCWV Luxury matstack papers with bordered punch cutouts and paper laces, as shown in the picture.
  • Stamped the Bride and Groom on a patternpaper and gold heat embossed it and fussy cut.
  • The baselayer is stenciled at diagonal ends using TCW Tiles stencil + embossing paste and heat set it by sprinkling gold embossing powders.
  • The fussycut couple is then added on focal panel with base white doily.
  • The layering of the floral cluster is made with tulle, pearl string, metal charm, chipboards and handmade blooms, hip roses and few diecuts.
  • Sentiment from Judy Garland is stamped onto a patternpaper using Black Archival ink, fussy cut and tucked near the floral spray.
  • Few clear droplets and some Prima mini artstones area added as final touches to the card.
