CAS card: Keep Climbing

Hi Craftypeeps!

Today my ‘happy place’ aka Blog is celebrating 7th blogoversary.

Its great to look back the journey. All started with Quilling, then cardmaking, and then it led me to where am today.

Mixedmedia, Altered art, Brush Calligraphy, Watercolor florals and Pencil coloring are my current interests and am absolutely enjoying every bit of this journey.

Keep Climbing! Made this card as a reminder to myself using a beautiful digital image.

  • Printed the beautiful climbing clematis digital image from Powerpoppy onto a white cs.
  • Colored using Fabercastell polychromos during Kathyrac’s June coloring contest time.
  • Matted with Black cs and mounted onto lavender cs.
  • Added few purple enamel dots as accents.
Hope you like it!

Mixedmedia Wall art: PowerPoppy GDT

Hi Crafty peeps,

Am SO stoked to guest design at Powerpoppy blog today.

Truly humbled and honored. Such a dream come true moment for me!

Am always a big fan of Marcella’s soulful illustrations…It makes anyone to color so instantly.

Though the coloring took a long time, loved every inch of layering and making this into a mixedmedia artwork by altering a round chopping board.

Hope to see you there!

Thanks for stopping by!

Tree Peony :CAS card

Hi friends,

Am here today with a CAS card using Tree peony digital stamp from Powerpoppy.
Made this card for my Mom’s birthday (April 9th).

Marcella’s beautiful illustrations makes the stamps to shine. Absolutely love working with those stamps.

  • Took a glossy paper and layer with 2 green alcohol inks.
  • Then added a trellis diecut in black.
  • Sized and matted on A2 sized Cream cardbase.
  • Colored the Tree peon from power poppy using Prisma colored pencils.
  • Fussy cut it and topped on trellis card panel.
  • Added the sentiment strip over the focal panel.
  • Few pink enamel dots in different sizes added as accents.
Hope you like it!

Hang in there! – CAS card

Hi Friends,

Am here today with a card, which have been coloring for past 3 days…Yeah..adding colors layer by layer in bits…Coloring on kraft cardstock is such a learning and i absolutely enjoyed this learning process.

  • Beautiful digi is from Powerpoppy’s Magnolia Sunshine.
  • Printed on to a backing sheet of packaging (5×7″)
  • As its a packaging sheet and not exact cardstock for coloring, its pretty challenging to layer the colors. Yet its such a learning.
  • Colored this using Prisma colored pencils.
  • Trimmed and matted on to light kraft colored A2 top fold cardbase, with vellum as backing.
  • The sentiment is added directly on to the card front and a beautiful sentiment on inside too with  a bit of those florals peeking in.
  • Absolutely loved working with this digi set and the uplifting sentiments 🙂
Hope you too like it!!
Happy Coloring!
