Art Happiness | Mudra

 Hi Friends,

Am here to share a quick clean and simple card for today.

Over to my card,

I have been into Coloring mostly particularly flowers for a long time now.

So planned to dig my stash to do a non-floral series of cards and without much Prisma coloring or Watercoloring.

Today’s card colouring focuses on ink smooshing by Watercolor markers. Love this loose style of coloring rather than doing elaborate No line coloring, which I usually opt for.

  • Took a piece of Canson watercolor cardstock and did a wet on wet coloring using Karin Brush markers.
  • After drying, stamped Mudra : Art Happiness stampset using Mudra Jet black ink pad.
  • Took a piece of white panel and diecut it using MFT Rec stax dies and dry embossed it using WRMK 3D embossing folder.
  • The colored panel too is diecut using smaller die from MFT Rec Stax dies.
  • The embossed focal panel is mounted over A2 sized black top fold cardbase and on it foam mounted the smaller diecut as focal panel.
Hope you like this super simple card!

  • Colored using Brustro Colored pencils.
  • The hearts are stamped all over the card using Memento London Fog ink pad for a subtle stamping.
  • The focal panel is diecut using A2 Rec Stax dies.
  • Matted over the panel over a black A2 sized car base.
Hope you like it!

Floral Smiles : CAS card

Hi Friends,

Made a CAS card today using Mudra’s Hibiscus stampset. Did Noline coloring technique.
Over to my card,

  • Stamped Mudra’s Hibiscus stamp onto watercolor paper using Antique Linen DI for attempting Noline coloring technique.
  • Colored using new to my stash- Fabercastell Watercolors.
  • Fussy cut and splashed generously with watered down white acrylics.
  • Took a Tag from watercolor cardstock and sponged Mustard seed DI over the corners leaving centers white.
  • Stamped sentiment from Kaisercraft using Memento Black ink.
  • Splashed with watered down green ink over the sponged areas.
  • Topped the Tag die-cut with Hibiscus using double sided adhesive.
  • Then this Tag matted over White cardbase of 4×6″ card using Foam adhesives.
Added few dew droplets to finish off the card.

  • Colored the cake using Prisma colored pencils and fussy cut it.
  • Stamped the sentiment from Mudra on the lower portion of the panel using Mudra Mai Jet ink.

Brush Calligraphy: Travel Tag

Hi Crafty peeps,

Seized a moment to do some calligraphy drills. And, as always ended with Rumi’s quote.

Used Pentel touch brush pen for doing brush calligraphy here. These pens are short nibbed ones and gives a crisp neat outcome always!
Chopped this MUDRA XL tag a bit to suit my need. Ultra smooth surface is just perfect not only for stamping but also for the Calligraphy!
Quote on one side and recipient’s name on the other side!
My neighbour here came to surprise me before her India trip with some Homemade, but ended up getting these Tags as her surprise 🙂 Made 1 for her and one teeny tiny name tag for her baby girl’s bag.
That’s how handmade brings in Joy to the souls around us 🙂
Hope you to like it!

Brushpen Calligraphy: Be Kind

Hi Friends,

Random Act of Kindness Week and am happy to share this little life’s reminder with a Calligraphed quote.

“In a world where you can be anything, Be Kind.”

Used MUDRA stencil and newly launched Gorgeous ink pads for the beautiful blending of the bg here.

That stencil is such a perfect match with my hand lettered quote.

Hope you like it as much as I love it!!
