Layered Love card

Hi Friends!

Today have come with a Layered Love card, made this having few ongoing challenges in mind.

This card made especially using Papericious brand products from India.

I absolutely love My Golden Garden PP stack and was waiting to lay my hands on it. Very Recently my parents sent loads of craft supplies from India, sourcing from various craft stores in India, it was my birthday gifts reached me just few weeks back 🙂

Layered the pps from the My golden garden set.
Distressed the edges using scissors and stacked on to the 6″ top fold square card.
Paper pieced the florals from the same set -Embeliishment kit, matted surrounding a heart diecut, which was made using Brusho – Carmine color, then clear embossed it to make it a pretty focal piece.
Few colored, clear heat embossed heart wood veneers, Textured sequins from Papericious, few clear droplets are added for extra touch.
The focal sentiment element is a from Papericious Collage sheet.
All put together made this beautiful card.

Dear Friends!

“Very Happy Valentine’s Day to all”

Am back today with a Layered Love card. Was inspired by soft delicate shades and the gold colors and so incorporated it into the card.

Its a pretty mix of pattern papers with Gold polka dots and bold polka prints. Diecut a front panel and layered over a peach shade pp.

The focal cluster is mounted on a resin frame with few diecut flourishes, diecut leaves and pretty mix of florals.

Big bold red resin floral heart added as a pretty addition.

Crocheted lace with a floral cabochon and a white embossed vellum butterfly are added with a word embellies.

A small wooden tag is distressed and the sentiment is added from Inspired by stamping.

Few clear droplets, peach pearls are added as final touches.

Altered Box

Hi Friends!

Today’s post is about an Altered Box, originally a Mobile package box which i was religiously hoarding for more than 4 years now. It’s a cute white 6″ box. Made this project a week back and gifted to my Dear friend for her birthday. She was thrilled to see this!!

Now will see the process of the project!

Took the box with lid, and white gessoed it totally.
Stenciled the base with Prima grid stencil with Prima light paste.
Sprinkled LSG sweet treats magicals on the stenciled portion and spritzed water to see the magicals burst colors.
Then its layered in Cheesecloth on all four inner sides and on the base centrally.
Doily, paper straws, Roses, resins and and other embellishments are added with few random partial stampings around the image.
Mini and macro art stones are added for little extra textures.
Timholtz chitchat stickers are added to kraft cs and added near the image.
A pink adhesive ribbon is added to the outside portion of the lid.
And on top of the lid, Prima Princess pp is added.
This finishes off my Project.

Mixed Media Wall art : Dream

Hi Friends!

Third post for Today!! Yippie!!

Made this wall art 15 days before and posting it today.

Recently sent a parcel to India for a dear crafter friend. Made this Project especially for her..She is none other than, Jasleen of Happily ever crafter 🙂

Thanks a ton Dearie…It gave me joy more than when i made it!! Happy to know you liked it!!

Used 6×6 Kappa board which i bought from Anandha stationary for the base here.
Coated with Prima art alchemy Metallic copper as base layer.
Then brushed Clear gesso to make the base take up further layers of inks, sprays, mists
Prima Clear crackle textured applied centrally and topped it with Drywall tape pieces.

Itsy bitsy ornated oval chipboard is coated with gesso and used as base for the focal element.
The swirly heart chipboard is a gift from a dear crafter friend, Pooja Duddalwar. Thank u dear 🙂
That is from 2crafty chipboard which is sprayed with LSG – Queen of Kissin Hearts -Red and thrice clear embossed using UTEE for that sheen and shine
The wings resin is brushed with Inkagold -Gold and added to the base oval chipboard and onto it added the swirly heart chipboard.

The wooden alphas are gessoed and inked with Fired brick distress inks.
Then random stuffs were added such as cheesecloth, gold embossed flower, biege bow, some sequins, metal embellishments.
LSG Glory of golden seas gold is sprayed around the heart.
Random stamping using Bobunny script stamp.

The edges of the board were distressed with archival ink, stenciled with Stamplorations criss cross stencil, and finally gold embossed randomly on edges.
Finally some white gesso spaltters.
Few clear droplets added for final touch.

Hi Crafty Peeps!

April showers brings May flowers!!

This part of the world is experiencing some sweet crazy weather for past couple of weeks and its bringing in such joy!! This gloomy rainy weather made me to brought in same mood in my card too. Hope you like it!

Indian craft room Coaster ride has brought in a new theme with a twist this time and its hosted by Sharada Dilip 🙂

Am completely in love with the theme 🙂

Hostess comes up with a Elemental inspiration and the twist is to make cards only with any 3 elements pick.

Now onto my card 🙂

(My choice of 3 elements are blackboard, a red heart, color palette in shelf)

Took a watercolor card ,quarter inch less than the A2 sized vanilla base card. Stamped Eiffel tower from IBS -Paris love set. Sponged with Momento london fog heavily at top and gradually faded diagonally at the corner.

Stamped the couple with umbrella on a wc paper, colored using Zig clean colour brushes and fussy cut with and mounted on the frontpanel near Eiffel tower using foam adhesives to create a depth to the scene.

Then took a scrap black cs and created a chalk board effect using Colorbox white frost pigment ink by stamping the sentiment on it. A UTEE embossed red heart is popped near the sentiment. And this black cs added to card panel using foam adhesives. Its then matted on A2 sized vanilla colored cs.
