Kindness – Floral card

Hi Friends,

A floral card for today using Itsybitsy’s Roses Stamp & Diecut set. Colored using Gansai Tambi on Canson Montval watercolor paper.

  • Stamped the rose and leaves from Itsybitsy in Antique Linen DI and did some no line watercolor using Gansai Tambi watercolors.
  • Added pencil shadings using Prisma color pencils for the shadows.
  • Die cut the colored images.
  • Scored the front panel using Scoreboard.
  • Mounted the florals over it using Liquid adhesive and Foam adhesives for dimensions.
  • Stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts over vellum and added that strip to the panel.
  • Took a strip of watercolor paper and colored with the green watercolor to bring it all together.
  • Added the panel to the A2 sized white card base.
  • Finally added few dew droplets to finish off the card.
Hope you like it!

Me & MiniMe Memories :MixedMedia Layout

Hi Crafty peeps,

Am here today with a mixed media layout using one of my favorite selfie with my little one for the current MTW challenge themed Frame and Memories. I couldn’t resist and so added mine before the challenge ends.

  • This Layout uses Itsy Bitsy’s in-house production brand, Little Birdie products.
  • Took 2 12×12 designer paper form the pack, Cottage Lace, one for the base layer and another one for fussycutting all pretty roses.
  • Centrally applied Prima white crackle paste and splashed series of sprays in pinks and browns.
  • Layered the pic with a chipboard frame and made a floral spray around it using Little Birdie floral collection.
  • The flourishes chippies are heat embossed in Zing -Green Ep and layered with the floral spray among the fussy cut roses.
  • Some random stamping around the focal elements using Black archival ink and Momento rich cocoa ink.
  • Added another 2 frame chippies (hidden under resin icon) and made a cluster with feather, and fussy cut elements, and added the prima resin icon : Memories
  • Sentiment stickers were added near to focal elements.
  • Art stones were added near the embellishments.
  • Generous splashes of pink and browns with final splash of white gesso to balance all.
  • Few enamel dots added as accents.

Floral Mixed media canvas

Hi friends!!!

How are you all doing!

Sharing here a Mixed media canvas which i did as a Guest Design Project for Itsy bitsy a week before.

  • Took a 5″x7″ canvas and white gessoed it completely.
  • I used light paste for a textural touch with Lime splash spray and applied using IB Chevron Stencil from my stash.
  • Then added layering with gauze and corrugated packaging material over the stenciled area.
  • Gessoed down whole area again to tone down the colors.
  • Sponged the white frame with Metallic gold pigment ink and added over the layering.
  • On that added the handmade flowers from various collections .
  • Green heat embossed IB Flourish chipboard from my stash and added near the floral spray.
  • Took Lime splash spray on a brush and brushed around the floral cluster and added few art stones for the interest.
  • Stamped a few random print script over the entire canvas panel.
  • Then gave a generous splash of white gesso over the floral cluster area.
  • Then, die cut sentiment from IB backing sheet of chipboard, clear heat embossed and added over the chipboard.
  • Sponged butterfly with baby pink pigment ink and added to the canvas.
