Hang in there! – CAS card

Hi Friends,

Am here today with a card, which have been coloring for past 3 days…Yeah..adding colors layer by layer in bits…Coloring on kraft cardstock is such a learning and i absolutely enjoyed this learning process.

  • Beautiful digi is from Powerpoppy’s Magnolia Sunshine.
  • Printed on to a backing sheet of packaging (5×7″)
  • As its a packaging sheet and not exact cardstock for coloring, its pretty challenging to layer the colors. Yet its such a learning.
  • Colored this using Prisma colored pencils.
  • Trimmed and matted on to light kraft colored A2 top fold cardbase, with vellum as backing.
  • The sentiment is added directly on to the card front and a beautiful sentiment on inside too with  a bit of those florals peeking in.
  • Absolutely loved working with this digi set and the uplifting sentiments 🙂
Hope you too like it!!
Happy Coloring!

You are Amazing!!

Hi Friends!

Today i had little time to color and so immediately made a card and blogged!!  ðŸ™‚

Used a digi freebie from Kit & Clowder. Beautiful floral images 🙂

  • Printed digital using inkjet printer and colored using my Fabercastell polychromos pencils.
  • Matted this onto a A2 sized kraft card base using foam adhesive.
  • Accented with enamel dots.
Hope you like it!

MHK Designer April Inspiration

Hi Friends!

Today with MHKDesigns’ DT inspiration using Stiched Sunflower digi stampset with Sunflower sampler papers. Must say, am addicted to this set of digi papers 🙂

This digi stampset is with such lovely sentiments with the sunflower image.

I love chevron pps and by now you would be aware of it too 🙂
Matted the sentiment using yellow and green chevron pps and matted this on to the brown chevron pp. Wanted the sentiment to be focal point this time.

Colored the sunflowers by Zig clean colorbrush pens and fussy cut it. I love heat embossing and so to make these flower as embellies, I heat embossed those flowers using UTEE clear Ep. At this stage, it just mimics the Sospeso flowers 🙂 Watercolored and fussy cut few leaves and added these below the sentiment frame using foam adhesives and completed the card by matting it on to a white A2 cardbase.

Thank you for stopping by!

Stitched sunflower is the focus design today 🙂
My take on this

I have diecut the design in a oval scallop and sponged Tumbled glass DI. Colored the sunflower using Zigclean color brush pens. Then matted this on the Spellbinder oval florals white diecut.

Then further matted this on Sunflower sampler– Digi paper – Yellow chevron. (Must say this digi paper, is such a lovely collection. Never Miss it!)

The front panel is matted on a lightt green A2 cardbase, with a yellow polka dot ribbon with sentiment banner topping on it. The sentiment banner is sponged with peepled paint DI on edges.

My take on this 🙂

Took 6″ square white cardbase, matted with Stenciled roses pink dp. Love to keep the Tulip as focal element. Colored the base image with Zigcleancolor brush pens.

Stenciled the surrounding using Ranger pigment ink in pink and rounded the corners. Colored the petal portion alone from another set, fussy cut and added using foam adhesives.

Wink of stella clear applied liberally and glossy accents touches to finish off the card. Sentiment from the same set is used.

Its a 6×6 card floral card with a digital image sponsored by the Pickled Potpourri Designs.

A kraft CS is matted on a IBS Vintage floral PP. Colored the digi using Faber Castell watercolor pencils and used a dry technique. Hope it needs a lot of improvement.

Roses are made using CLD gardenia die and colored with Festive berries DI. The other flowers are created using MFT petal party die and colored with Tumbled glass DI.

Colored digi placed centrally on a doily and the floral arrangement are on a side with CLD rose leaves die and CLD ivy flourishes die which are again sponged with Peeled paint and Crushed olive DIs.

Few DI inks splatters and pearl centres to finish off the card with a IBS sentiment on Spellbinders banner using Rangers Archival black ink.
