Hiya Friends!

Made a card with simple ink blending and stamping.

Over to the card,

Took a white cardstock and inkblended with DI : Shaded lilac, Tumbled glass, Cracked Pistachio.
Die cut using MFT A2 Rec Stax die set.
Stamped the roses bunch and sentiment from PowerPoppy Everything Even Rosier stamp set in Mudra Mai Jet black ink.
Uncolored it as such this time and love the blend of pretty English colors here.
Foam mounted this ink blended panel onto the A2 sized top fold Off white Card base.

Hey Hi All,

Am still sticking and challenging myself onto making of some non-floral cards…Yay bit away from my pencil coloring, watercoloring of florals.

And for today, it’s a Butterfly card.

To me, Butterfly symbolises a “Free spirit”. And it goes wherever it pleases and pleases wherever it goes.

Took a watercolor paper and trimmed a bit to fit a 4×6″ Top fold cardbase.
Mixed HNDMD paper texture paste and Brusho -Limegreen to get a beautiful shade of green.
Applied this prepared paste over the panel using TCW ‘Art is’ stencil diagonally and applied plain paper paste to rest of the areas.
Love this texture paste as it just mimics a handmade paper texture.
Centrally splashed Smooch-Spritz golden yellow for a warm glow.
Stamplorations -Trendy butterflies2 large butterfly is gold heat embossed, fussy-cut and topped over die-cut leaves to create a focal element.
Sentiment from same stamp set is stamped using Memento black ink on to a strip of paper and added to the focal panel.
Matted this over cardbase and added few green enamel dots to finish off the card.

Botanical Rainbow Thank you Card!

Hi Crafty friends!

Am guesting over at The Twisted Challenges Blog.

Theme for the current challenge is Rainbow colors+Grateful/Thankful

Its a no flower/ No coloring card!!! Just dies and 3D embossing folder!

Over to my take on the challenge.

Simple card ..to shift all focus on the rainbow colored gorgeous bg 🙂

Took a smooth white cardstock and blended Mudra MAI inks in the colors of rainbow fashion.
The colors blends so smoothly.
Splattered water on both sides but dint show up much of blotchy effects.
Dry embossed it using Sizzix – 3D embossing folder- Botanical (This way cs won’t tear and show cracks)
Gorgeous embossed and debossed sides obtained.
Trimmed the panel and matted to the black cs.
Took a vellum heart diecut, to it added a layered Thankyou diecut from SSS, which has 1 black layer and 2 white layers, and the upper layer is heat embossed with UTEE clear for added interest.
Used Nuvo glue pen for adhering the diecuts as well as to the vellum.
Then the card panel added to A2 sized white card base.
Few enamel dots are added as accents.

Layered Love Card

Dear Friends!

“Very Happy Valentine’s Day to all”

Am back today with a Layered Love card. Was inspired by soft delicate shades and the gold colors and so incorporated it into the card.

Its a pretty mix of pattern papers with Gold polka dots and bold polka prints. Diecut a front panel and layered over a peach shade pp.

The focal cluster is mounted on a resin frame with few diecut flourishes, diecut leaves and pretty mix of florals.

Big bold red resin floral heart added as a pretty addition.

Crocheted lace with a floral cabochon and a white embossed vellum butterfly are added with a word embellies.

A small wooden tag is distressed and the sentiment is added from Inspired by stamping.

Few clear droplets, peach pearls are added as final touches.

Hi Friends!!

After a long time, i made a card just for creating….Yes just for the joy of making it. Not as DT commitment 😉

Love card with a mixed media touch.

Straight to the card 🙂

Took A2 white cardbase and matted with Papericious Naturals pattern paper- Denim.
Its again layered with another pp from same collection, which is pleated and added to the focal panel.
Used cheesecloth, which is tucked under pleating.
A circular resin piece is added to the central doily with a tulle as base layer.

Stenciled a portion of focal panel with Modelling paste using TCW Tile Stencil to create a texture on the otherwise plain base.
Few flowers, florish diecuts are added with a cute little biege bow.
Dry brushed gesso on flowers.
Added Prima mini artstones are added for little interest.

IBS sentiment is stamped on the vellum and added over resin.
Kaisercraft butterfly is stamped and colored with Zig brush pens, is mounted on panel.
Few enamel dots are added to finish off the card.

Today’s post is dedicated to my Dearmost Mom.

“Very Very Happpppy Birthday Ma…Love u soooooo much”.

This is a CAS card i made for her..

White CS is embossed and this front panel is matted on a base White CS. To the front panel, Twine is wrapped at centre of it and on it added vellum flowers. This is the first time tried using vellum to make flowers. And these are colored using Distress Stains- Rustyhinge, Mustard seed, Milled lavender and Dusty concord.

CLD ivy florish diecuts are added around the flowers. Scalloped sentiment banner is added on top of a layered diecut. The sentiment banner is embossed and distressed at edges for the sentiment to pop up.

Butterfly is embossed with Black Ep and distressed with tumbled glass for that slight blue tint.
Few pearls are added for the final touch.

Am so delighted to receive from her and she is the past designer team of Paperlane, whose work, i have admired a lot. Thank U Lidiya and just loving those Distress stains a lot 🙂 Love this sweet gesture!

Quilled Sunflowers card :)

Oh Yeah…Its been a loooong time since i quilled. After my Quilled Dedication frame for my granny, this is the card in recent times i made.

These quilled elements were made some 10 days before and just assembled today to form sunflowers, leaves, tendrils and twines. Happy to share since its completely made using Quilling Needle only and the flowers are made with 1.5mm width strips and distressed on tips with rich cocoa momento ink. Fringed flowers are distressed with wildhoney DI on edges. For an added interest, made some multistrips scrolls.

The background is made by scoring a Kraft CS on scoreboard randomly and distressing again with rich cocoa momento ink to give a wood bg and matted on sandcolor CS. And the this mounted on a black CS whose surface is vertically scored to create little texture to the card.
