Creative Artist | Brush Calligraphy & Lettering

 Hi Crafty peeps,

Happy World Watercolour month to you all!

Am here today with a card which focuses much on Hand lettered quote and matching diecuts.

Over to my card,

  • Did Brush Calligraphy and lettering on a white smooth cardstock and diecut it using MFT Rec Stax dies.
  • Diecut Spellbinders Paint dies from watercolor cardstcok and coloured using Karin brushmarkers.
  • Mounted focal panel onto a Cairo cream A2 top fold cardbase.
  • Finally placed the coloured diecuts aesthetically over the panel and added foam adhesives wherever necessary for dimension.
Hope you like it!

A Floral wreath

Hi Friends!

Whipped up a quick watercolor floral wreath for today. As Spring is in the air, filled this piece with more of tiny wild florals.

  • Used Gansai Tambi watercolors for coloring the wreath.
  • And Tombow hard tip for Calligraphy.
Practice Stillness!!
Let Stillness and Silence soothe your Soul!
Hope you like this simple wreath!

Brush Calligraphy: Travel Tag

Hi Crafty peeps,

Seized a moment to do some calligraphy drills. And, as always ended with Rumi’s quote.

Used Pentel touch brush pen for doing brush calligraphy here. These pens are short nibbed ones and gives a crisp neat outcome always!
Chopped this MUDRA XL tag a bit to suit my need. Ultra smooth surface is just perfect not only for stamping but also for the Calligraphy!
Quote on one side and recipient’s name on the other side!
My neighbour here came to surprise me before her India trip with some Homemade, but ended up getting these Tags as her surprise 🙂 Made 1 for her and one teeny tiny name tag for her baby girl’s bag.
That’s how handmade brings in Joy to the souls around us 🙂
Hope you to like it!

BrushLettered Quote : Love

Hi Friends,

Very Happy Valentine’s Day to all!
Love this Rumi quote! Brush lettered using Pentel sign touch pens. Love this shot tipped brushpen as it always helps in delivering neatness while forming letters.

Handlettered quotes + Watercolor florals – Trio Series1

Hi Friends!

During my June end to August Vacation at India, squeezed a lot of ME time amidst of my Family business and office works, and practiced Handlettering and Watercoloring florals.

Must say, every day i look forward for the evening time, to let my soul speak.

My little one would accompany me by smooshing his paint palette on his drawing book 🙂

And most of all, my dad would sit and watch patiently how we both do!!

Gonna share 3 projects per post 🙂

Hope you all like it!!

Hello October!

Hi Friends,

Simple watercolor wreath using Gansai tambi colors..and to mark the beginning of October, Autumn/ Fall season 🙂
Bit of calligraphy to go along with that! Hope you like it!

Watercolor Florals and Brush Lettering!!

In the series of Watercoloring and Brush Lettering combo, i did two artworks in Canton Montval watercolor paper with Gansai Tambi watercolors and did some Lettering by Kuretake Fudebiyori Metallic brush pens.

Yay!!! I never craft during my vacation at India…But this time, i wanna practice these newly learnt art forms, whenever i have little free time.

Truly i could see differences in my watercolor painting and acquired a bit confidence in brush strokes, as i mostly work with coloring stamped images, within boundaries.
This truly let my soul set free…

Hope you like it!!

More to come….Stay Tuned 🙂
