Altenew April 2022 Spring Garden Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Am SO excited and happy to be part of Altenew April 2022 Spring Garden Collection Release Blog Hop.

I have made few cards using the variety of products in this Awesome Release. I have used different coloring medium on Embossed panels this time. Hope you like it!

This card features Chevron Background Hot Foil Plate, Wonderfully Made Die.
Hotfoiled the blue foil onto a pastel blue cardstock and topped with a navy blue die cut to finish off the card.

This card features Morning Blooms Hot Foil plate. It has a wonderful co-ordinating stencil set but I have used Colored pencils as my coloring medium here. I have added a script diecut word from a gold glitter cardstock.

Jet Black Crisp Dye cube ink

Made a simple CAS card for today. Did No line Watercoloring and then splashed with generous amount of White calligraphy ink and then let to air dry. Then fussy cut and mounted onto a white diecut panel. Sentiment from the today’s release set is added and die cut using Featured Sentiments Die set.

This card features Meadow Reflections Stamp Set. It has a co-ordinating die set, which has not been used here. The bg is by ink blending the Distress oxides. This set is one of my favourite from the release for its very beautiful silhouette images and Pretty butterflies. It’s a must-have stamp set for Perfect Sentiments too.

This card features Morning Flowers Stamp and Die Set.

Used Altenew cube inks: Cool summer Night for the flowers and Green Field cube inks for the leaves.

This card features the Oh-So Beautiful Castle Garden Stamp set. Wanna make a monochromatic goodness with this stamp. Stamped with gray cardstock using Rock collection cube ink and used graphite and white charcoal to do the subtle coloring. White gel pen inks for the centres of the flowers. Splashed generously with white calligraphy ink for interest and the sentiment is from Fancy Greetings Stamp set.

This card features the stunning outline flower bouquet of pretty arrangement of roses and calla lilies. This set has 6 cheery sentiments. Did No-line watercoloring on this pretty set and showcased it with a lovely sentiment.

I dry embossed a white cardstock and matted over a darl gray A2 sized cardbase. 

The sentiment is stamped over a light gray cs and die cut using Featured sentiment die set.

This card features the CYLP Fragrant Florals Stencil, Stamp & Die.

I stamped the fragrant florals and then stencilled with the cube inks. Pencil colored at few places for interest. Then its die cut using the co ordinating die.

This card features the CYLP Fragrant florals Layering Stamp set.

I did No line watercoloring using the outline stamp set.

Altenew Craft-A-Flower: African Daisy Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Made a floral card using this new, CAF African Daisy.


Over to my card,

  • Diecut the petals in white and pencil colored the top layers alone and embossed all layers and stacked using Liquid glue.
  • Diecut the centre and pencil colored it with white gel pens dots and then embossed.
  • Leaves are cut from green cardstocks and added veins and pencil colored it too.
  • Took a white cardstock, dry embossed it with 3D Daisy Bed Embossing Folder.
  • Matted the embossed panel onto the green A2 sized cardbase and foam mounted the flowers for dimension and added liquid adhesive to the leaves.

This card features Altenew Build-A-Flower Belladonna Lily

The floral inflorescence is white heat embossed on watercolour cardstock to watercolour those gorgeous dainty petals using Woodless Watercolor Pencils. Few more inflorescence were white heat embossed on Vellum to bring about the softness to the entire focal element. The embossed look of the bg is achieved by dry embossing Classy Stripes stencil on a heavy white cardstock.
