I have made a simple mixed media canvas combining few of my favorites.
Procedure:
- Took 4×5″ pre gessoed canvas.
- Wrapped a natural hemp cord few times.
- Stenciled whole canvas with TCW mini quatrefoil stencil.
- Added a burlap piece on top of the hemp cord.
- Black gessoed whole canvas and then added the embellishments, which are also black gessoed.
- Whole canvas is touched with Prima waxes and Lindy’s sprays.
- Butterfly is stamped, colored using Primacolored pencils and heat embossed using clear UTEE.
- This added centrally over a oval resin piece.
- Chipboard Sentiment added to the canvas, which was black gessoed and treated with sprays and waxes.
