Am back after a loooong vacation at India…This “Thank you” is for all the hearts who peeped into this little crafty space of mine, though i didnt publish new posts…
And to my blogger pals who generously shared about the diecutting machine, Bigshot and to invest on which dies…Thank you Sonia, Hussena, Sindhu, Nupur Priya.
Yessss….now am a proud owner of Bigshot π
Coming to my card….The large rose is handmade using the super giant punch bunch Begonia and distressed with spun sugar. The flourish is distressed using Crushed olive. The pattern papers are matted on the centre of white cardstock and the flowers are kept as focal point. Large butterfly diecut is distressed with tumbled glass and added with few pearls and brads. Sentiment is stamped in versamark ink and embossed with black ep using my new Heat it tool.
Pictures are taken from my new Samsung Galaxy S4…am in love with these clear crisp images π
Hope you like it!!
And happy news to share…oh yes…i sent my 2 of my entries for 30th Quilling competition held at Liverpool, UK on August 9-10, 2013. Am so happy to be a participant in this grand celebration of Quilling.
Many thanks to Philippa Reid and Josie Jenkins, who generously received my competition entries, submitted and sent back safely.
Made a quilled butterfly and added on this quilled frame which i made for my granny π This is my first big monarch butterfly!
Photos taken on the event by Josie Jenkins, and she was so kind enough to send my entry pics on the same day. Heard from her that its well appreciated among the crowd. Few for you
This is kept as competition entry and was given a lot number for public voting.
This was done by me 2 years back as a beginner in quilling and this old project is kept in General Display section.
