Silhouette Stamping

Here’s a quick card using Silhouette images. In love with the stamp set -Wildflowers. Card made here is much influenced by tips and  tutes which Heather of Bits and Pieces has generously shared. Have been following her blog for quite sometime and she always left me in awe seeing her creations.

Centre panel is made by masking the portions and thereby created the sky-land.  Grassland is made distressing with shabby shutters and crushed olive and even for stamping grasses.  Sky made using Tumbled glass distress ink. Wildflowers, insects are stamped using Black soot. This is then added to the embossed base cardstock. Sentiment banner is added.
Its just an amateurish way and need to improvise a lot 🙂
Hope you like it!!
Thank you all so much for the comments and wishes for earlier post. This keeps me driving
Supplies:
Base cardstock, panel – Sudha
Shabby shutters, Crushed olive – Crafters corner
Tumbled glass,Black soot – Florishes
Technique tuesday – Wildflowers Stamp – Diecuts and more
Sentiment tag- Itsy bitsy

Challenge entered:

Anything goes challenge : In the garden, add some butterflies
Color conceptions – Spread your wing with Distress inks
Cuttlebug mania – Back to nature
All sorts challenge – Butterflies
CASology – Silhouette

Hola!!!

Am back after a loooong vacation at India…This “Thank you” is for all the hearts who peeped into this little crafty space of mine, though i didnt publish new posts…

And to my blogger pals who generously shared about the diecutting machine, Bigshot and to invest on which dies…Thank you Sonia, Hussena, Sindhu, Nupur Priya.
Yessss….now am a proud owner of Bigshot 🙂

Coming to my card….The large rose is handmade using the super giant punch bunch Begonia and distressed with spun sugar. The flourish is distressed using Crushed olive. The pattern papers are matted on the centre of white cardstock and the flowers are kept as focal point. Large butterfly diecut is distressed with tumbled glass and added with few pearls and brads. Sentiment is stamped in versamark ink and embossed with black ep using my new Heat it tool.

Pictures are taken from my new Samsung Galaxy S4…am in love with these clear crisp images 🙂
