The Flower Challenge#81 | Use your favourite flower | Altenew

Hi All,

Am here again with a floral card for the current challenge at The Flower Challenge Blog. This time the theme is “Use your favourite flower”. For this theme, you can use Stamped flowers, Diecut flowers, Stencil flowers or embossed flowers like mine.

Over to my card,

  • Took a strip of Neenah solar crest cardstock.
  • Dry embossed it with Altenew Daisy bed embossing folder.
  • Then colored the embossed flowers using Copics and Altenew Artist markers.
  • After coloring, foam mounted the coloured panel over a Mehendi green A2 sized top fold card base as shown in pic.
  • Sentiment from Altenew Sentiment Strips 2 is stamped using Altenew Evergreen crips dye ink on a canary yellow cardstock and diecut it using Altenew Featured sentiments die set.
  • Its foam mounted as shown and added just 2 enamel dots in yellow to finish off the card.

Hope you like it!

The Flower Challenge#79 | Focus on Background Stamping | Reminder | Altenew

Hi Friends,

It’s time for the reminder post for the ongoing challenge at The Flower Challenge blog. The focus is on background stamping. So what are you waiting for? Take out all those teeny tiny small stamps and make a patterned paper look on the background of your card. Yeah that’s what exactly I did today.

Over to my card,

  • Took a sheet from White Neenah solar crest cardstock.
  • Stamped small floral bunches from Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set in an aesthetic way all over the sheet.
  • Colored these tiny stamps using Copic Ciao markers.
  • Matted over a lavender slimline card base using liquid adhesive .
  • Stamped sentiment from Altenew Sentiment stamp 2 using Altenew cube ink.
  • Die cut using Featured sentiments Die set and mounted as shown using foam squares.
  • Added few yellow enamel dots as accents.

Hope you like it!
