The Flower Challenge #98 | Add Sparkle | Reminder | Spellbinders

Hi crafty peeps,

Am here to share a floral card for the last challenge of our The Flower Challenge Blog. The theme for this challenge is ‘Add a Sparkle’. Made a Christmas themed die cut card featuring lovely dies and Poinsettia florals from Spellbinders+ Amazing Paper Grace.

Over to my card,

  • Took diecut from Spellbinders Petite twisted rectangles using patterned paper and its mounted on the Olive green A2 sized cardbase..
  • To a small diecut using Gold mirror cardstock, Poinsettia florals are added.
  • Poinsettia diecuts are taken from Neenah solar crest white cardstocks and copic colored and then moulded to give flower shapes and mounted as shown.
  • Finally its foam mounted on to the focal panel as shown using foam adhesives.

The Flower Challenge #98 | Add Sparkle | Spellbinders| Amazing Papergrace | SSS

Happy December Crafty peeps!

Am here for a brand new challenge at our The Flower Challenge blog. The theme for this challenge is to ‘Add Sparkle’ and to keep florals as focal elements, as always.

Over to my card,

  • Used Poinsettia (small)dies from Spellbinders Die set for the florals.
    Diecut on white cardstock and coloured using Copic markers.
  • Using Gold cardstocks and white cardstocks and diecut it from Spellbinders Twisted Ovals and Ornate dies.
  • Arranged the diecuts as shown above and topped with the florals and leaves.
  • SSS line of words -Season of Thanks from white cardstocks few times and arranged to give a dimensional effect.
  • A row of white pearls added just above the sentiment die cut and few on the ornate diecut,
  • These are all matted over a cream cardstocks.

The Flower Challenge#97 | Thanks | Sizzix

Hi Crafty Friends,

Am here to share a floral card for The Flower Challenge blog. The theme for this challenge is “Thanks’ focusing flowers as main focal elements.

Over to my card,

  • Took coloured car stock and dry embossed using Sizzix Botanical Embossing folder.
    And then liberally used Hero arts white pigment ink without much pressure.
  • Then took white charcoal pencils and added the detailing as shown.
  • Then added diecut script word Thanks from Altenew mini die.
  • Panel is matted over a white A2 sized cardbase.
  • Butterfly diecut from Sizzix timholtz – Detailed Butterfly mini added to the panel.
  • Few pearls are added as accents.

The Flower Challenge #95 | Include a Stamped flower | Reminder | Altenew

Hi Crafty Friends,

Am here again to share a floral card for our current challenge at The Flower Challenge blog. The theme for challenge is ‘Include a stamped flower’ .

Over to my card,

  • Stamped Altenew -Sweet Cluster min stamp set using Fade out Noline coloring ink.
  • Colored using Copic ciao markers and slightly topped with Prisma colored pencils for little shading + White gel pen for floral centres.
  • Diecut floral panel using Altenew – Mix& Match Frame die cut and matted onto the A2 sized top fold cardbase.
  • And added the fussy cut the colored image using foam adhesives on the panel as shown.
  • Sentiment from same stap set is stamped using Altenew Evergreen crisp dye ink onto a negative of a die cut piece and foam mounted near floral spray.
  • Few mini pearls are added as accents.

Hi Crafty Friends,

Am here again to share a floral card for The Flower Challenge blog. The theme for this challenge is ‘Include a stamped flower’ .

Over to my card,

  • Stamped Altenew- Belladonna Lily Stamp set using Altenew Crsip Dye Ink – Limestone onto Strathmore Toned Gray sketch paper.
  • Did Noline coloring using Prisma colored pencils.
  • Die cut using MFT Stitched Rectangle die set.
  • Sentiment from Altenew-Tranquility Rose is stamped using Altenew Crisp Dye ink – Desert Night.
  • White gouache are generously splattered over the colored image.
  • This focal panel is then matted over the blue A2 sized top fold card base using foam adhesives.
  • Few yellow enamel dots are added for interest.

The Flower Challenge#94 |Be inspired by the colors| Reminder | Altenew

Hi Crafty peeps,

Am here today to share a floral card for the midway point of our challenge at Flower Challenge blog .The color palette is so spring-ish and we would love to see you inspired by the color palette.

Over to my card,

  • Took a white cardstock and diecut the lovely flowers from Altenew – Plum blossoms Layering die set.
  • And its sponged with Altenew crisp dye inks – Perfect peach, Candy pink for the floral petals.
  • For Leaves, sponged with Distress inks – Peeled paint, Shabby shutters. Stamens- Mustard seed.
  • Took a white focal panel and diecut it with Spellbinders Label die set.
  • Onto it sponged with Altenew Crisp Dye ink – Limestone using TCW stencil – Quatrefoil to give a trellis bg partially as the floral base.
  • Sentiment is stamped from Altenew Fancy kisses using Altenew Crisp Dye ink – Evergreen.
  • The leaves and florals are added to the stencilled base using liquid and foam adhesives.
  • The panel is then added to the Olive green A2 sized card base using adhesives.
  • Few clear dew droplets are added as accents.

The Flower Challenge#94 | Be Inspired by the colors | Altenew | Copic coloring

Hi Crafty folks,

National Friendship Day today observed here in India and Am wishing all my Crafty peeps, A Very Happy Friendship Day.

New month means new challenge at our The Flower Challenge blog and this time we are asking you to be inspired by the colors. Given palette is filled with wonderful spring shades and we would love to see you play along.

Over to my card,

  • Stamped Altenew- CAF Fragrant florals outline onto a Alcohol marker friendly cardstock using Inkon3 Fadeout ink.
  • Colored the stamped image using Copic markers and then shadows and highlights using Prisma colored pencils.
  • Then its diecut using 2 die sets from Mix & Match Frame set.
  • The die cut floral panel is stamped with a sentiment from same stamp set using Altenew Evergreen Crisp Dye ink.
  • Now took a gray A2 sized top fold cardbase and matted the 2 diesets as shown.
  • One with circle border frame with liquid adhesive and deckled edge panel die set with foam adhesives for dimensional look.
  • Few clear dew droplets are added for interest.

The Flower Challenge#93 | Birthday | Reminder | Altenew

Hi Crafty peeps.

Am back here today to share a floral card for the midway point of the current challenge at The Flower Challenge . Did Noline copic coloring.

Over to my card,

  • Stamped Altenew – BAF Giant Bellflower outline stamp onto a alcohol coloring friendly cardstock using Versamark Onyx black ink.
  • Coloured using Copic alcohol markers.
  • Die cut the image with co-ordinating die set.
  • Focal panel was diecut using Gina Marie Scallop rectangle die and while on die, it was sponged with distress ink at one corner.
  • Sentiment from same stamp set is stamped onto the sponged corner of the panel.
  • Then its mounted onto a A2 sized Blue topfold cardbase using adhesives.
  • The diecut image was mounted on to the focal panel using foam adhesives.
  • Few clear dew droplets are added as accents.

The Flower Challenge#93 | Birthday Card | Altenew | Pencil colouring

Hi Crafty Peeps,

Am here again to share a floral card for this month’s challenge at Flower Challenge blog. This month we would like you to make a birthday card and as always Florals are to be at focus. Made use of my beloved Prisma pencils for colouring, been missing for many months now and at last put to use.

Let’s dive into my make,

  • Did simple noline pencil colouring on Altenew Belladonna lily, which was stamped using Fade out noline colouring ink.
  • Then die cut the coloured image using co-ordinating die set.
  • Then took a A2 sized top fold Off white card base.
  • Matted it with 4″‘X5.25″ pp from Altenew Poured Acrylic 6×6 paper pack.
  • Then Altenew Linear crossroad die set is used to cut a die from white cardstock and added to the focal panel.
  • Onto it added the coloured diecut image using foam adhesives.
  • Altenew Mini Cupcake Delight Stamp and Die set used to make the ‘Happy’ die cut and ‘birthday’ sub sentiment is stamped using Altenew jet black crisp dye ink..
  • Few clear dew drops are added for accents.
