The Flower Challenge#93 | Birthday Card | Altenew | Pencil colouring

Hi Crafty Peeps,

Am here again to share a floral card for this month’s challenge at Flower Challenge blog. This month we would like you to make a birthday card and as always Florals are to be at focus. Made use of my beloved Prisma pencils for colouring, been missing for many months now and at last put to use.

Let’s dive into my make,

  • Did simple noline pencil colouring on Altenew Belladonna lily, which was stamped using Fade out noline colouring ink.
  • Then die cut the coloured image using co-ordinating die set.
  • Then took a A2 sized top fold Off white card base.
  • Matted it with 4″‘X5.25″ pp from Altenew Poured Acrylic 6×6 paper pack.
  • Then Altenew Linear crossroad die set is used to cut a die from white cardstock and added to the focal panel.
  • Onto it added the coloured diecut image using foam adhesives.
  • Altenew Mini Cupcake Delight Stamp and Die set used to make the ‘Happy’ die cut and ‘birthday’ sub sentiment is stamped using Altenew jet black crisp dye ink..
  • Few clear dew drops are added for accents.

Hope you like this simple card.

Bouquet of Wishes | Inspired by Stamping

Hi all,

Am back here again with a floral card for the ongoing Craft-a Palooza Giveaway at Kanan’s Ifeelglee.com. Yes they have extended their giveaway till 2nd June 2023. So do play along to show your support 🙂

I already made 2 cards for 2 other categories and this time its for CAS category.

Am a sucker for flowers. And this one company in past 2013-2014 was the whole sole reason for making me love the floral stamps. I used to participate and won many of their monthly challenges and by that way, my craft stash of floral stamps started to build. It’s none other than Joanna’s Inspired By Stamping and sadly it was closed many years back, yet I still own their wonderful stamps.

Today’s card is from that brand IBS, Tulip Bouquet. I also love the sentiment font of all their stamps.

Over to the card,

  • Took a Strathmore Toned Tan sketch paper and diecut it using Gina Marie Scalloped Frame large die set.
  • Then stamped Inspired by Stamping Tulip Bouquet using Distress Ink – Antique Linen.
  • Coloured the stamped image using Copics and Colored pencils.
  • After colouring stamped a lovely sentiment from same stamp set.
  • Then foam mounted this die cut panel over a top fold A2 sized Olive green cardbase.

Hope you like this simple sweet greeting card!
