  • Karin brushmakers are used for Watercoloring.
  • Then diecut using co-ordinating die and foam mounted onto a white focal card which is dry embossed using Altenew Diamond stars 3D embossing folder.
  • Sentiment from same stampset is white heat embossed over a black cardstock and cut and foam mounted on dry embossed panel.
  • Then the panel is mounted over a Teal A2 cardbase.
Hope you like it!

You are Amazing | Peony Floral | Uniko

 Hi Friends,

Am here today with a floral card again. This time tried to use some muted tones and kept me away from darker tones a lot.

Am a Mixedmedia artist at heart who loves loads of textures and layering. But here I have kept a clean and simple design using a watercolored floral as a focal point. Noline coloring technique is my only way to color as stamped lines makes me blank always.

Uniko’s Peony florals stampset is my most favorite stampset and I have played several times earlier. Check here, here, here, here.

Over to my card,

  • Stamped Uniko Peony florals onto Arches CP Watercolor paper using Antique Linen DI for Noline watercoloring.
  • Used Prima The classics watercolor pan set for this card.
  • The floral is then fussy cut and kept aside to prepare the loose watercolored bg onto Arches HP using the left over paints.
  • Diecut using MFT stitched Rec Stax die.
  • Stamped the sentiment form Uniko Just because stamp set using Mudra Mai jet black ink pad
  • Liberally splashed white acrylic paint splatters over the fussy cut floral and foam mounted onto the watercolored focal panel.
  • Then its foam mounted onto Cairo cream A2 sized top fold cardbase.
  • Finally few dew droplets are added for interest.
Hope you like it!

  • Mounted the focal panel onto a lavender A2 sized Top fold cardbase using foam adhesives.
  • Sentiment is stamped over a circle diecut and mounted centrally over the floral spray.

Happy Birthday Card : Stamplorations

Hiya Crafters,

Made a floral birthday card for today. Used a brand new Brustro Colored pencils,  from Creative Hands. These are proudly Made in India Wax based pencils.

I started my coloring with Bi colored pencils from Faber castell, then upgraded to 24 pencils of Polychromos. I felt so fortunate when my DH gifted me Polychromos 120 set + Prisma colored pencils 132 set for my 2017 Birthday. And then there is no looking back 🙂 My experiments with it are still continuing.

With regard to this new in town Brustro Colored pencils, it convinced me so much with it’s wide range of colors especially with Greens. The soft core wax based pencils gives rich color tones and work wonderfully for shading and blending. If you are yet to own Poly or Prisma, this 75 pencils set can be a great investment in testing Wax based pencils and can grow your coloring interest with this.

And…Over to my card for today 🙂

  • Stamped Stamplorations Blossoms Sprays#3 from Dee’s Artsy Impressions using Antique Linen onto a white cardstock.
  • Colored using New Brustro Colored pencils from Creative Hands .
  • Sentiment from IBS (a retired stamp )company using Mudra Jet black ink.
  • Trimmed and mounted this focal panel onto a Cairo Cream Top Fold A2 cardbase.
  • Few clear dew droplets are added as accents.
Hope you like it!
Happy Stamping!
