Inkblended-Embossed-Stencil Love Card | Brutus Monroe

 Hi Friends,

Made a card for Brutus Monroes monthly inspiration card.

This time took Brutus Monroe’s Pinwheel Stencil and ink blended and embossed through the stencil to get a beautiful pattern using a subtle and soft toned shades.

Over to my card,

Love how the plain stencil other than using for Ink blending technique, when clubbed with dry Embossing technique, gives such a whole new texture to the card panel.

Hope you like it!

Elegant Roses | Brutus Monroe

Hi Friends,

Am happy to share my card today made for Brutus Monroe blog as their Brand Ambassador.
Over to my card,

  • Took gold mirror cardstock and diceut it using Brutus Monroe Rose Corner die set . Then I backed it with thick vellum cardstock and fussy cut it around the rose die cut.
  • I have die cut love scripty word die from Brutus Monroe With Love die set thrice in gold mirror cardstock and layered it up to give an extra dimension.
  • It’s time to assemble the card. Took an A2 sized top fold Ivory cardbase. Splashed generously gold acrylic paint on one corner of the card as shown. Left it to air dry completely and then foam mounted the gold rose corner diecut on the cardbase. This gives a raised effect and the die cut looks beautiful with the vellum backing.
  • Finally added the scripty love word die using the liquid adhesive over the gold splashed corner of the card as shown.
Hope you like it!
