Deer Trio Shaker Card :)

It’s my ever first try at Shaker cards, which is so popular now in Craftland πŸ™‚
Xmas and New year is nearing and its time to gift a card to my son’s class teacher as Winter holidays gonna begin soon πŸ™‚

Took 5.5″ topfold card and to it added a kraft cardstock.

Stamped snowbanks and trees using momento inks and to it added Diamond stickles. And sprinkled white opaque embossing powder and heat set it to mimic snow fall and on the banks, using versamark ink, randomly spread the ink and heat embossed using white opaque embossing powder

The memory box deer trio is cut on a kraft cs and its sponged on edges using Momento rich cocoa and using white frost pigment ink, its sponged randomly and added to the snow banks.

The edges of the kraft cs are distressed using scissors and are sponged with Momento rich cocoa. IBS Snowflakes are stamped using versamark and heatset using white opaque EP. And with white frost pigment ink, the edges are lightly sponged again to give a snowy atmosphere.

Twinklets Diamond dust is added as the shaker elements as its the only element i had in hand and hope it perfectly would suit the winter scene. Am not all that glitter lover, hope this diamond dust and stickles gives that subtle shimmer and glam. The round dome is carefully then placed.

A small floral spray using few leaves diecut and which are distressed using peeled paint, shabby shutters, berries which are colored red and heat embossed with clear EP, and stick pollens with a red knotted bow added with a white tulle piece.

A side notched vellum sentiment banner is added to finish off the card.

Hope you like this first ever try of my Shaker card πŸ™‚
